Man: That's the Inubushi residence...
--A mansion cursed by the Demon Dog.

Kazuha: Hey, Heiji...
--Is it true?

Kazuha: About the pearl falling from the mouth of that adopted Inubushi son, Shinichi?
Heiji: It's true...

Heiji: He may have bit it off from his tie pin in his dying moments...
--to leave a clue about the culprit...

Heiji: Right, kid?
Conan: Yeah!
--Since the old man's saliva was also on the tie pin it's possible it was a dying message!

Mouri: Possible?

--And that he purposely placed the pearl in the victim's mouth.

Conan: Isn't that right, Heiji-niichan?
Heiji: Yep!

Ran: They always get along so well!
Kazuha: Really...just like Heiji's little helper...
Conan: This helper resigns...

Mouri: Well, either way, it's the action of someone who carries a big grudge against the Inubushi family.
--The victim, Shinichi-san, renounced his rights to the Inubushi estate and returned to Tokyo...

Heiji: Satomi-san, the wife who inherited the estate from her wealthy husband, Inubushi Tsunechika, is bedridden...If the crimes were a way to increase the adoptees' inheritance portions then Shinichi-san wouldn't have been involved...

Ran:Weren't there eight adopted children?
Kazuha: Yeah, they're all Tsunechika-san's natural children, albeit all by different mothers...

Ran: But a real child might bear a grudge, too...though he'd have been harboring it for years...

Heiji: Let's see, there's Shinichi-san, whose murder was made to look like a charcoal suicide...

Heiji: Before that was a woman, Miwako, who drowned in a swamp...
--I heard the grass surrounding the swamp was burned by no apparent cause.

Heiji: And then there's the very first one...the man named Keiji who plunged off a cliff after being attacked by a fiery demon dog!
--All of them had a connection to fire...

Conan: If you're scared then you should have stayed at home...
Ran: But...after hearing the climax of a scary story the ending doesn't worry me...
Kazuha: I'm that way too, but it really was scary...
Mouri: Hey, you think it's too late to turn back?

Voice: Stop! Turn back!

Woman: Hurry up and stop!! There's a cliff up ahead!!

Sign: Danger!! [TN: Plus some other words I can't make out.]

Heiji: Close call...
Woman: Geesh...
--There was a sign back there, you know!

Woman: 　Anyway, you should be careful when you take your family out to the woods!
--Somebody else just died there recently!
Mouri: Well, actually...

Mouri: We were just on our way to the Inubushi residence to investigate that accident...
Woman: Eh?

Conan: Doesn't seem like a residence cursed by a demon dog at all!

Heiji: Is it true she never said anything about...

Heiji: But that sounds just like a folktale...

Conan: So the grave is for real?
Miyuki: Yes...it's beneath the cliff where your car almost fell off this afternoon...

Ran: It says, "The grave of the Inubushi Family's heroic dog, Fusatarou."
Mouri: So if that fiery dog shows up they'd think it was this Fusatarou's curse...

Kazuha: I'll pray hard so that there'll be no curse.
Ran: M-me, too!
Heiji: There's no such thing as curses...

Conan: Hey...was this where the person fell off the cliff?
Miyuki: Y-yes...

Miyuki: Right above the grave...
