Eyeshield 21 292

Hello everyone, and welcome to this Eyeshield21 translation. Saying we've been waiting for that moment quite a lot would be an understatement, huh? :nuts I don't even resent Hiruma calling me a fucking trash, since I love when this manga is kicking me in the ass :XD

And for the random trivia, my current avatar/sig girl is Aya Hirano, the voice actress of Mamori~ (the only shining light in a poor anime >.>)

Anyway, enjoy~

Mamori : the Deimon Devilbats is...

Mamori : Put into operation what you’ve prepared for
Mamori : so far during
Mamori : the match! It’s that kind of card.

Page 03

Monta: ... That’s right
Monta : Hiruma-senpai
Monta : During the whole first half
Monta : He kept throwing those super long passes without stopping.

Monta : All of that
Monta : Was for the sake of preparing for this, huh?

Monta : With this staring land war
Monta : Taka!
Monta : I’ll defeat you!

Monta : I’ll definitely settle this with a catch!
Monta : Because that’s all I believe in...!!

Hiruma : Kekeke, don’t turn too soon, fucking monkey
Hiruma : You have to shake off that Taka one billion percents.
Hiruma : Push your limits
Hiruma : even further...!

Page 04

Someone : Oooh, he’s still not turning!
Someone : He’s still sticking to Monta!!

Monta : I must push him
Monta : even further...
Monta : To the point he’ll think I’m sacrificing my life for this catch

Taka : It’s a shame, Raimon, but...
Taka : I already understand your abilities.

Taka : Your limit point for turning around and catch the ball is
Taka : 3 steps from now on...

Monta : Still
Monta : 5 steps!!

Monta : If I can push him for 5 steps
Monta : and turn there after braking MAX
Monta: I’ll catch it...!!

Page 05

Taka : That’s right...
Taka : 3 steps
Taka : That’s what I used to think.

Taka : But I’m not taking you lightly anymore
Taka : Raimon.
Taka : With your catching power
Taka : You can push for about two steps more.

Monta : There!!

Page 06-07 (spread)

Taka : Raimon Tarou
Taka : You would cut back
Taka : at exactly this spot...!

Suzuna : Yaaaa!!

Ikkyuu : Even after pushing him this far
Ikkyuu : He couldn’t shake him off...

Guy : That Taka
Guy : He perfectly stuck to him until the end!
Guy : It’s over!

Sakuraba : Eh...?

Page 10

Unsui : This...

Riku : It can’t be
Riku : That guy...

Riku : Monta pushed until the utmost limit of his confidence
Riku : Then looked like he was turning around
Riku : just for a single instant

Hiruma : Kekeke, but if it’s that fucking long-hair (Taka)
Hiruma : He’ll definitely be able to react in that single instant, right?

Ikkyuu : He knew it well, that Monta bastard
Ikkyuu : If he turns around at the oni utmost limit
Ikkyuu : Then Taka would definitely follow him

Ikkyuu : because he won’t overlook any kind of pass
Ikkyuu : They used Taka’s talent and tenacity
Ikkyuu : against him...

Page 11

Taka : Raimon challenged me so many times
Taka : keeping up pushing then turning around
Taka : it was for the sake of
Taka : letting me know his own limit point.

Taka : For the sake of just
Taka : putting me a step behind this once
Taka : They kept
Taka : preparing...

Monta : With that step
Monta : I’ll catch it...!!

Someone : The strategy card 21 is
Someone : the sign for putting into operation what you’ve prepared for.

Sena : That’s right
Sena : From the beginning, Monta and Hiruma-san’s combo was
Sena : always aiming for this...

Hiruma : YA
Hiruma : HA!!

Page 12

Sena : A touchdown in one shot
Sena : With a super long pass
Sena : The Hail Devil Laser!!

Page 13

Everyone : Wooooh!!

Taka : If you cut at the instant the defender is turning around
Taka : He definitely won’t have time to react.
Taka : That’s what you’re aiming for.

Hiruma : Kekeke, smart brat, huh?
Monta : So what if you noticed that...!

Hera : the reckless long passes to Monta were
Hera : A trap to make him win the land war

Hera : And making us notice that was a trap in itself!
Hera : the real purpose was
Hera : this super long pass in the end...!!

Karin : For the sake of this single pass...

Yamato : So they sacrificed the whole first half
Yamato : in order to keep preparing for this...

Aki : I can’t believe it...!!

Page 14-15 (spread)

Monta : Wait until Deimon is champion, Suzuna.

Monta : Don’t worry
Monta : because our hero
Monta : is definitely coming too...!

Page 17

Sena : Monta
Sena : Keep going
Sena : until
Sena : the goal line...!

Takami : usually, for Sena
Takami : it’s not a distance he could have caught up with in that time

Takami : but Taka and Monta
Takami : turned around a single instant
Takami : Thanks for that loss of time
Takami : the light-speed Sena could catch up and block.

Hera : A perfectly
Hera : designed play...!
