Zetsu: It was Sasuke, there's no mistaking it.

Kisame: And Deidara's companion?
AL: You should be thankful for what's happened, Itachi.
AL: Deidara sacrificed his life to get rid of your little problem.
Kisame: Hmmm, it seems we're forgetting someone though.
Zetsu: Tobi seems to have perished in the explosion as well, although it was difficult to distinguish everything in the chaos.

Kisame: He wasn't able to escape from the explosion in time, despite his ability to run away like a little kitten... it was quite the jutsu, after all.
AL: Whatever... a man of Tobi's level is easily acquired, we'll be effective.
AL: Deidara was special though...
Kisame: If you say so. However, Tobi was quite skilled at turning such a gloomy and melancholy organization into something a little bit more cheerful, don't you agree?
AL: I'm going.
AL: The least you can do is to mourn for Deidara quietly.

Sasuke: Just before I was able to escape, Manda and I took a large brunt of the explosion...
Sasuke: There's no mistaking it, he was part of the Akatsuki, but he was definitely stronger than I had thought....

Suigetsu: At any rate, we don't have time for rest, Sasuke.

(I'm still confused about who is who in the pages AL appears :P)
Personally I do not think that Pain is the true leader... merely the leader of his group, the guys who handle all of the dirty work for higher-ups. I can't imagine Pain being the true leader of Akatsuki if he's taking orders from someone in the shadows.
But I have one question... In page 7 this words...
Itachi: Who was the one that defeated him?
Itachi: Was it my brother, or was it the Kyuubi?
Are you sure that are Itachi words? I think that this words are from Kisame because the bubble don't have any point at Itachi and Itachi don't ask that questions =P... So, maybe the line is... "Was Itachi's brother, or was it the Kyuubi?"
