Not sure of the difference but here's Iwanin's trans, and much closer to the original mind you~... but my take of it was the "アレ" is referring to Sasuke's ability to use the Sharingan~ never the less:
"Those eyes will be better than Itachi's..."

機は熟した
The time is ripe.

You can bet he's prepared himself.
