Good timing, this chapter came out mere minutes after I got off work! :luffy

Edit: kekekekeke, well, even though he's offline again I'm glad I checked back for more of the trans! since I didn't actually look at the RAW pics, I had no idea we would get Oda to unveil one of his HUGE mysteries like this. Somehow, though many might disagree, I truly believe that Oda planned SOMETHING like this since he first drew that whale, maybe earlier. This is the second time ANY manga has made me shed tears (not open crying, but the kind of light tears that you just can't hold back), the first being the sad time of Robin's backstory. Both times by Oda. This is why One Piece remains my #1 favorite manga through the ages. Thanks very much for the trans!!!
Final Edit: So, you're gonna be the first one done anyway. Thanks for the great trans! Since your typos aren't commonly misspelled words, I'm willing to accept that they're probably typos, so kudos to you.

You holded back your light tears when nami cried Luffy to help her (Arlong arc)... :oh man you're cold.

I wonder why it said I was offline... I've been on MH for the past like 6 hours now... :s
I try and take my time with the rough (I.E. big words) parts of the script. For the first 5 pages or so though it was pretty easy stuff. Now days I do 1 quick pass, and after that I go back and give each questionable line the attention it needs. This way, speed scanners have something to use immediately that is generally more accurate than many quick translations, and people using it a few hours later have (to the best of my ability) a fully accurate script. This is in no way a jab at the people doing quick translations though, they do awesome work and I wish I had their speed.
I think you noted it too, he was trying to find the crew, not simply trying to get out of the GL.
Or am i just imagining things?
The crew was said to have left the Grand Line in Volume 12 Chapter 102. Laboon wanted to get out of the Grand Lind so that he could go find them again. He was okay with them running away (although that wasn't the true case).
