Oh the joy of childhood. This one warm-hearted manga, that I can honestly suggest to anyone. Really anyone! I see no reason why age, sex, political opinions or anything would prevent one enjoying this hilarious series.

Yotsuba& is sincerelly funny, and really takes you back to the childhood days. Every character is likeable and unique, but still easily approchable. The art is ver, very good. Characters are fairly simply drawn but it fits the series perfectly. Backgrounds are beuatifull and detailed. Yotsubas expressions are pure win! Permalink " "

We all love being young and innocent and this manga doesn't fall short of showing us how lovely our lives are when we are children. Growing up with people, maybe even new people, watching things we have never seen before and for the most part, learning things we would never have thought of. Yotsubato! is a manga that can bring a smile to your face no matter how bad your life is. It's made for pretty much any age target and gender. You'll be reminded of various things in your own life that have changed or lead to your life now.

Azuma-sensei's work is wonderful. I can't say much about the art, as this is the first of his work for me, but can say you won't be disappointed. I really dislike manga without background art and Azuma-sensei hasn't fallen towards creating that negativity, but in fact put loads of it, as they are needed for the story of this manga as a whole. Speaking of story, it doesn't focus on anything in particular aside from Yotsuba's daily "random" life, which is a good thing if you read on further. The most comedic part of this story is how Azuma-sensei knows what exact "random" speech to say for Yotsuba's character and the expressions she gives of.

I highly recommend this manga to anyone who'd like to read something "slice of life" genred, but not too random that it's going nowhere, and also have some fun along the way. Permalink " "
