- New Art Contest Winners!!! This week, we have winners from all 4 categories!!! Miranu won the Amateur Coloring Contest with a coloring of a page from Bleach featuring Nell! Vhea won the Advanced Coloring with a coloring of Sakura from Naruto! Sharingandevil won the B&W Fanart category with a drawing of Orochimaru and Sasuke from Naruto! And Irenukia won the Colored Fanart category with a drawing of Sakura and Naruto! Great job guys!!

- Exorcists Unite! Who here likes Hoshino Katsura's shonen manga about exorcists and akumas? Well, good news! We have expanded the D. Gray-Man section due to growing fan interest and overall participation in translations and scanlations! - More Focus On Seinen! We also decided to expand the Seinen area as well because of the presence of scanlation groups interested in working with seinen (Strays being the most prominent at MH right now) and translators (ie. [url=http://mangahelpers.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=4]Zindryr[/url] ) as well. If you do not know what seinen are, they are mature-themed stories that typically include a lot of violence, nudity, and mature content, so please be forewarned. We have given larger sections to the following manga:
Berserk by Kentaro Miura, arguably the most popular seinen manga in the world, about the brutal adventures and struggles of Guts, the Black Swordsman, as he fiercely battles with the monsters of his world. This manga has reached 32 volumes, so there's plenty to talk about at the newly-created Interstice library section. So if you're a reader, what are you waiting for? Go there and discuss to your heart's content! Just remember, it's not a good idea to go berserk sometimes! A huge thanks to Evil Genius for continuing to provide great scanlations for all the Berserk fans.
Gantz by Hiroya Oku, about an intense and incredibly dangerous game of life and death - which only the dead can participate in! In order to preserve their lives, teenager Kei Kurono and several other people are forced to hunt down and kill aliens for unknown reasons. Now at 20 volumes and beyond, the manga is still going strong and attracts new readers every month here, thanks to [url=http://mangahelpers.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=334]Hisshouburaiken[/url], who translates every new chapter. If you would like to discuss the mysteries of the Black Ball, be sure to drop by our Gantz section and visit the Gantz's Room and relax there and chat with other fans. Just watch out for the song.
Vagabond by Takehiko Inoue, an award-winning manga based on fictitious accounts of the real-life samurai, Miyamoto Musashi, as written by Eiji Yoshikawa. A dedicated man to the sword who goes on a journey all over Japan, boldly challenging all the strongest warriors of the era in order to be invincible under the sun, Musashi learns several lessons about what it truly means to be strong. With the 24th volume coming out this month in Japan, Vagabond is another long-time seinen manga where there's tons to talk about, so feel free to open the Book of Five Rings section and participate in conversations with other fans. More Seinen: We have also given child boards to more little-known seinen mangas called Until Death Do Us Part and My Balls. Bakafish is working with, guess who - yep, [url=http://mangahelpers.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=4]Zindryr[/url] again - in order to give us new chapters of UDDUP, which is about a blind swordsman with a dark past who protects a precognizant girl from a world of yakuza and malicious companies seeking her talents. And My Balls is, well, a zany adventure where the name of the manga is incredibly appropriate - if you're really interested in more details, read here about it. Have fun.
