I haven't thought it's so easy on it :)
I mean, I haven't ever wanted to buy it, but I'm positively surprised.
Very good review. You presented all pros and cons really well.
To me both PSP and e-reader looked good, with a slight preference to the latter because of what you said about PSP serving 4koma likes. That's the reason why I didn't like the first two. The one was panel by panel, which is horrible thinking of double spreads and whatnot and the other had that annoying zoom function - maybe you get used to it once you use it, but this way it looks like you need more time zooming than actually reading xD
So Id prefer something of book size with good zoom and good greyscale.
I already tried on mobile phone:
- screen too small
- it is pretty slow, slow when you scroll, slow to load.. slow to read
- having to scroll continuously trough one page is frustrating
I also tried the colored version one on mobile phone :
- you loose the feeling of the manga, i mean... battles seem to have less action, and you can't get into it as well as normally
I would prefer the ebook device, it's much easier to read on it i guess... but it's pretty expensive for only reading -_- but still if i had the choice, i would take this!
For the PSP if Sony should make their official program more like that image viewer, since the portrait view is better suited for displaying full pages.
I live in South Africa, which is really really slow with manga..any one willing to help me on what decent comic viewing apps out there? if any...
But here's the big question, which e-reader is the best for this? The video mentions there are better ones on the market now but doesn't name any >_< anyone know which are THE choice for Manga atm?
For what kind of device? :)
@sasari
Here's a nice comparison chart of the ebook readers currently released so far.

Generally the higher the gray scale the better it'll look. Also I heard the sony 700's screen isn't very good so it'd be better to get the prs-505
I haven't done much research on these devices lately. But one I've wanted for a while is the iliad. 16 gray scales o/ and really big screen :333
i thinK that the apple iphone is the best reader , wich the kimetic scroll
and the zoom finger. is very good read manga, when i go to another
city i read in the iphone is very good :O ..
greetings!!
Hmmm I don't think there are applications for that ._.
Not all phones have them. Perhaps a simple image viewer? Probably that's the best you're going to get...
Okay, I understand. What would you recommend?
Though a psp would probably work just as well if you can't get an android ^^ (it's just a bit bigger ._.)
For casual use in the home the ebook reader would be better~ Get one that'd fit your needs here: http://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/E-book_Reader_Matrix (remember - the higher the gray scale the better)
so i edited it before addig it to my phone...its takes some time but its worth :D
u gotta read frame after frame :)
I couldn't agree more with google androids. i think it's convenient and practical when addiction gets through my spine. XD
I'd like to pass on clamshell phone and psp to read manga. because i love to view it in a whole page, and psp isn't good for my eyes.
I'm interested to read manga in the e-book reader too, but i don't know where to buy this gadget in my country. (and i heard the newest one is Rp. 3.10^6++ DX)
<nice video! :)>
Hmmm actually if you could get this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOpegRabe5I it would probably be MUCH better than the android phone :).
Does amazon ship to your country?
@DH18
I bought it via the net and had it sent to a friend in the states they then sent it to me in Japan. Do you have anyone you could trust to do the same?
