Well! This year has finally come to an end and it's time to move on to 2008. But before we do let's look back at ...
[spoiler= What happened at MH in 2007!]
[spoiler= New themes and dropdown menu]
Thanks to fuzzy, all of the themes you've seen here was done by him! (With some help from Terra as well.) Not to mention the drop down menu that we use on the left, thanks to Fuzzy that was possible too.[/spoiler]
[spoiler= Move from SMF to vB]
This was probably one of the most tiring things the staff had to handle during 2007. With the move taking several days and several hours of tedius work... Really, the staff is awesome (give them your love! :p)[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Prefixes and Manga icons]
To help you find what you are looking for a bit better this mod was installed. We also put in little icons so you can spot the manga you are looking for at first glance.[/spoiler]
[spoiler= New areas]
We also expanded our site quite a bit to show new areas as well as reorganized it to handle what we have better too.
What we've added / changed was:
- Translator and scanlator boards got revamped.
- International translator and scanlator boards got flags for their boards.
- Several Seinen and Shounen boards were added (while some taken away)
- Art & Stories area for artists and writers to show off their work
- Change the art gallery to something that works a bit better with vB.

[spoiler=The addition as well as stepping down of staff.]
If you ever wanted to know who all works at this site to help make it go smoothly then check out the Forum Leaders Thread. But before you do, I just wanted to take some time and give a HUGE thanks to a couple of former staff.
Gold Knight has stepped down from staff for good (for now? >.>) and is focusing on school. Gold Knight was one of the first Admins here at MH. He helped out so much on decisions, staff recruiting and people relations sooooooo much that this site wouldn't be what it is without him.
Two other people that I want to mention is WinterLion and Terra.
WinterLion's term was relatively short for an admin, but the amount of work she did could probably surpass most of the current, and past staff. She is awesome.
As well as
Terra. He helped out a lot with a lot of tech issues organizing things, giving us opinions on how to handle things and fixing / modifying just about all that needed to be done. He really did help the overall functioning of MH in a lot of ways.
As for the addition of staff, we've hired a lot of people to help make this site run smoothly. If you haven't already done so, take a minute and read through the
forum leaders thread and find out all about the awesome staff we have working here :). This site wouldn't be what it is without them. So- Thanks for a great year guys. You're really awesome! <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3

To wrap things up, this year has been rather eventful~. However, this new year looks to be EVEN more eventful. We've got TONS of things planned for 2008 so much so that we hope to revolutionize the manga world even more!
So stay tuned as new things are bound to happen soon ;).
But before I end this, I have a question.
What would you like to see different in 2008?
Any suggestion at all, feel free to tell us in this thread what you like / don't like or what you'd like to see and we'll try our best to please you this year.
