Yet another Brand New LOOK!

Wow... what is this?! Could it be? Yet another look?!

Well after going through all the comments regarding the new look, we took the comments to heart... Favorites being "My eyes are bleeding" and "I can't find a thing!". So what did Nimloth and Fuzzy do? They created this brand new look! Fuzzy created the new look to be easier on the eyes, Nimloth went through and rewrote the page to get rid of all the tables and updated the html to 2008 style. But not stoping there, we all thought long and hard about how to make the site easier to navigate and thus the new nav menu was born.

After that was finished the forum was then reskinned to match it. The inspiration, Coffee! Perhaps all the coffee got to us? You could say that ;)

So we're happy to bring you the new Dark front page, and the new Coffee forum skin to match. As for the banner, yes it does show some Bleach love, but we're not forgetting the other series. More banners are yet to come so hang tight!

We hope this new look will keep you satisfied until we find some way to please you more and make your overall experience greater. Thanks again for your input and let us know what you think about this one!

ok.. looks better than before.. my eyes hurt from focusing on stuff. Yet... loose the adds right smack in the middle of the page, thats lame!

WOW!!! You guys never seace to excede all known levels of awesomenes in your dedication to your members and perfection! This is pure hotness. If there was any doubt in anyones mind that the admin/mod team of mangahelpers is not the best in the entire world-wide-net, this should have entirely obliterated it. I mean, you spent months creating a new look and then upgraded the wholething ad added extra features in two day!?!? You have forever secured my undying respect.

Great to have access to naruto and bleach straigh away! Leave the unmodified old design for microsoft :p... edit : Any "up" link to come back on top of the page?

I always was a fan of darker schemes with light contrast. This suits my taste just fine. Well done, you Admins and Mods and whatnot have yet to let me down. Kudos.

This is definitely better look than last one ;) In one word Nice :) About the banner there is js script that randomly put new picture (banner)every time when you enter the site. I think it would work perfect here :)

One of my core beliefs with any art, work, or project - is that there's always room for improvement. So, perfect isn't in my vocabulary. I'll say - it looks good enough where I can't pinpoint any problems ... yet. :) Very nice! Very clean, professional, neat, slick ... I wish I could do as good of a job myself! XD

So for example, in the Naruto section, you'll have a Naruto banner, One Piece banner in the OP section, and so on. The banners are in the making, so stay put :)

thank you! very nice! (even the reviews banner blends better now!) the only thing I can add is the fact that the art contests' winners are never shown except when you click the expand button. a thought: perhaps the site could remember the state of the box (expanded/not expanded) via cookies and whoever wants it can always view the whole box.

Its a bit better. I still think that overall the page could be presented better. I still feel that there is no need for the "latest headlines things taking up a huge space on the main page. I still wish that there was better formatting for the "Latest" boxes and such. But its a decent improvement over the last one.

Look: I like the color much better now, but there is a problem with the last 5 news on the upper right, because the text and the background are both black... Navigation: I don't see realy the changes in the navigation besides that nartuo bleach etc. got their own pupup window. My problem is still the same. I can't find the other Mangatalks. For Example Claymore? The old one had its small navigation with all the mangas in it. You just needet to choose witch you like, but now you have to search for claymore and than find the right tread....

I use Opera and I'm not noticing anything wrong with the navbar menu. It's working perfectly fine for me. Could you show us a screenshot to tell us what you mean?

Re: elementc Web 2.0? Pff. I'd like to say interactivity, CSS, and AJAX. Hype-it-up labels ... bleh. But - I do admit - I like it how administrators web-wide have started to TRUST their users to make worthwhile contributions - this whole "2.0" thing isn't much more than - let users do their own stuff, and ride the wave. It's more philosophy than tech. The web's been getting better by leaps and bounds daily. Shouldn't complain much. Man, I remember the web - circa 1994 - it was like notepad in 64 colors. A word document was more graphics intensive. (Ok ok, I'm bashing the oldsk00l web... but it was bad. LOL!) Omg, and 1996 - when my old CGI webboard was the hottest thing to hit alt.binaries.emulators.nintendo XD ( Ok, I admit - at the time, yeah, like I'd ever have been able to whip up the script back then. Today - I could do it by spitting on my screen - it wasn't much more than an overglorified guestbook ... but it was cool, nonetheless. Goodtimes man, goodtimes. ) Things have come a long way. :) We shouldn't bash too much. It can only ... um, I hope, get better.

We are tweaking it as to what is safe to do for heavy queries. What this essentially means is that any time within 4 minutes and 59 seconds after your thread is posted it should show up on the main page. We are looking at lowering the cache to 60 seconds or even 30 seconds depending on the load statistic results on the servers :] What is the delay since you posted a thread and it still not being visible?

Hello again :P The last change was ok for me it was looking good but I have to admit the new navigation system is better than the last one it takes less effort to get to where you wanna go. Great work again clap clap clap ;) I should also say that hollow ichigo looks cool at the top :D

Just when I was finding my way around you guys changed it again! I thought the last version was good with the minor exception to the "Manga Discussion" tab which I thought should've said MH Forums to make it easier on the rest of us. But I suppose this will work. Should we expect any more changes?

Very nice site. Sharp and clean borders, definitely an improvement from the last template :) Colors are easier to read and looks just right. Good use of space and the nav drop down menu is quite handy.

that's sweet as. it's really put this site back up there once again. i felt that other sites surpassed this one with the GUI they set forth but not any more, MH has re-awoken :)
