Popular Mangaka Draw for Caramel Corn Packaging 
From left to right, designs by Sakura Momoko, Fujiko Fujio A, Ikeda Riyoko and Tezuka Productions. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the snack "Caramel Corn", the packaging will be adorned by designs by iconic mangaka loved by the entire nation. The limited edition packaging goes on sale from the 14th of March.
"Caramel Corn" underwent a product renewal in 2003 when the packaging took on the design it has today with an outstanding face on it. This time, the original packaging will be used a base upon which Sakura Momoko, Fujiko Fujio A, Ikeda Riyoko and Tezuka Productions will draw the faces they are synonymous with. For example, the Tezuka Productions one features Astro Boy's face.

Some of the 5th Annual Seiyū Award Winners Announced

The organizers of the 5th Annual Seiyū Awards announced some of the winners on Wednesday.
Special Merit AwardAward for a late seiyū who contributed to many genres, especially foreign works

Roles: Elvis Presley and Sylvester Stallone's dubbing, Science Ninja Team Gatchaman franchise's Joe Asakura the Condor

Roles: Elizabeth Taylor and Sigourney Weaver's dubbing, Glass Mask's Utako Himekawa
Masaaki YajimaFreelance

The next set of winners, including the Overseas Fans Choice Award, Synergy Award, Kids/Family Award, and the new Kazue Takahashi Award, will be announced on February 22. The remainder of the award winners will be announced during a ceremony at the Tokyo Anime Center in the Akihabara otaku shopping district on March 5.
