New "Platinum Manga" App For Cellphone Manga
Much like cellphone novels, cellphone manga can now be distributed via a new app by Spicy Soft.
Spicy Soft announced on the 11th that it had added a corner to "
App★Get DX", catered towards it's management company NTT Docomo, entitled "Plantinum Manga" and which allows users to read cellphone manga. It costs ¥315 a month for the first 10 chapters, but one will be able to read as much as one likes if one pays ¥525 a month.
"Platinum Manga" features manga selected by the editorial division, chosen from over 3700 mangaka who have submitted their works to Spicy Soft's cellphone manga submission site "
Manga★Get". It charges users who read the manga, and provides an avenue for mangaka to get their pro debut.
