Ouran High School Host Club Live-Action Drama Announced 
Kawaguchi Haruna and Yamamoto Yuusuke take on the roles of Haruhi and Tamaki. Hatori Bisco's "Ouran High School Host Club" will become a live-action TV drama and will air in July. The heroine Fujioka Haruhi will be played by Kawaguchi Haruna, while the hero Suou Tamaki will be played by Yamamoto Yuusuke. In addition, the rest of the host club members will be played by:
- Daitou Shunsuke as Ootori Kyouya
- Takagi Shinpei as Hitachiin Hikaru
- Takagi Manpei as Hitachiin Kaoru
- Chiba Yuudai as Haninozuka Mitsukuni
- Nakamura Masaya as Morinozuka Takashi
Meanwhile, Ryuusei Ryou will play Nekozawa Umehito. The drama will air every Friday at 24:20 (Saturdays 00:20am) on TBS and will also be available on J:COM On Demand.
Hatori said of the live-action adaptation, "I thought Host Club would be unsuitable for a live-action adaptation, but the production staff still insisted that they wanted to give it a try, and I am truly thankful for their great enthusiasm and kindness. I'm looking forward to the brand new Host Club world I'll get to experience precisely because it's a live-action!"
