MangaHelpers will celebrate its 6th birthday on November 15th, 2011
We have had a lot of ups and downs in the past 6 years and now it is time to look not only back but also forward. Thus we will celebrate this year's anniversary bigger and better than ever before – with you!
For this, we need everyone's help. Please continue reading on how you can join the fun!

Pre-Invitation ----------------------
The whole staff invites you to a 24 hour long bday party starting November 19 (midnight JST). We will have a birthday thread in which we won't be as strict on the „no spam“-rule as usual, we also very much look forward to see you in our IRC channel.
We're also thinking of holding a public MH Mumble conference but need help with the technical aspect. If anyone of you is able to help us out with that, please drop an email at:

Before we can party, we need some work done first, though. Here's were we need you:
- MH Interview
Listen to us, literally! We want your questions. We'll have an audio interview with MH's founder and some of the oldest active staff members recorded! Drop us one question.
Questions can be about the past, current situation and possible future of MH. They can be general as well as a bit personal. But only one question per member! Please understand that we will have to select the number down to estimated ~20 questions, else it will be too much. We will try to cover as much as possible by summarizing some questions too.

- Yearbook Greeting
For our annual yearbook, we want your comments, bday wishes and greetings. HANDWRITTEN! This is a bit tricky, so read the specifics well:
You need to hand in an image in the size of maximum 400px x 200px width or a maximum of 300px for a square/round format. It can be smaller, just not bigger. The quality doesn't matter as long as it's readable. You can scribble notes, greetings, wishes, comments or draw on it – be creative, but in a small scale.
We will try to include all of these notes but please note that nothing insulting or bashing will be published. If it's too much, we will do it like this: The staff will choose about ~20 especially creative notes, for the rest we will draw lots down to a reasonable number.

- MH Member Video Song
Video record yourself singing „Happy Birthday MangaHelpers“ and send us the file (or the link to a downloadable source). The only requierment is that the clip doesn't extend 45 seconds and that your user name must be displayed somewhere in the video, preferred in a creative way! We plan to edit all the clips together or have them overlapping for a really cool birthday song video featured on our MH Youtube Channel!
Note: You're allowed to hide your face or parts of it. But only as much as necessary to keep anonymity, don't bother sending just sound.

Recruitment: We still look for someone who can nicely edit said video. It's certainly time consuming and all you get is to be credited and our eternal gratitude but it will look oh so much nicer when it's done by someone with actual video edit skills. Else you have to deal with my skills and I'm afraid that won't do justice to the participants.
