- Otaku Cafe: General manga discussion and recommendations.
- Light Novels: Discussion about light novels, the inspiration for many popular anime.
- Visual Novels: Visual novel discussion.
- Video Games: Computer and console game discussion threads.
- Otaku Karaoke: Featuring J-Pop, K-Pop, and C-Pop discussion threads.
- International Comics: The place to discuss comics not from Japan, Korea, or China.
- Otaku Shoten: Manga news, and manga industry discussion threads.
- Otaku Theater: Discuss the currently airing anime, the latest movies, OVA's, and anime news.
- Retro Theater: Discussion thread for completed television anime, classic movies, and OVA's.
- Theater Lounge: General anime discussion and recommendations.
- Manga Reviews: Post manga reviews, or join the Collective Reading project.
The Otaku Finder forum has been deleted due to lack of interest. All recommendation threads have been moved to the Otaku Cafe, prefixed "recommendations". The Collective Reading project can now be found in the Reviews Forum. The old manga and anime award have been moved to the
forum archive. The archive is not visible from the forum index, but are still accessible using the drop down menus, in the tab marked "forum".
