Unsuspecting populus, my eggs with ham are getting cold. I leave thee thus, quickly today. I've included a UBERLITERAL version for those who complain that translations are too liberal nowadays. Do be enlightened by seeing what we translators are forced to put up with.
Chapter 295: Title sounds far too kinky to translate. Read it somewhere else.
Page 1.
Orochimaru: Now, surely taking a blow of such concentrated chakra...
UBERLITERAL: Expectedly that degree of chakra of highly concentrated degree eat did I...
Orochimaru: Would be the end of me.
UBERLITRAL: Die I would, *tehee*.
Page 2.
Yamato: So... for the sake of stability, the chakra seeping out has taken on a shape closer to the Kyuubi's.
UBERLITERAL: The chakra leak is asking for stability from the shape closer to Kyuubi's!
Yamato: With Naruto's body relegated to the role of medium. That's the miniature Kyuubi, right there...
UBERLITERAL: The Naruto's body inside is only a medium body (see Sai - he's *not* small!)... That is truly a small nine tail itself! (then again, maybe I spoke too soon).
Yamato: This new chakra's different from the Kyuubi chakra we'd seen before - in both the amount and its very nature...
UBERLITERAL: The chakra leaked up til now is quality and quantity different...
Yamato: Above all else, it's simply inhuman...
UBERLITERAL: Anything close bad feelings are strong...
Yamato: Normally, enveloped by such chakra you'd...
UBERLITERAL: Draping your body in such chakra would normally...
Yamato: Just how is he able to move?
UBERLITERAL: Why can you be moving...

UBERLITERAL: Naruto... what the fuck...

Orochimaru: I dare say he won't be moving much under such highly concentrated chakra.
UBERLITERAL: I'm hungry and breakfast is here at the office, so I don't feel like making something funny up for this one.
Orochimaru: However does he plan to fight me...? *kuku*...
UBERLITERAL: See above.

Orochimaru: Oh.
UBERLITERAL: He came! (this one was just too easy).

My eggs are now being swiftly digested in the bowels of my bowels, and I am one happy little camper. :D
Although truth be told, my tortillas were somewhat on the rubbery side, which is never good... but bad tortillas are better than no tortillas, I always say.
Honestly, it's a small wonder you heathens can live without them! :blink
Funny thing is, vulgarity aside, "what the fuck" probably is closer to "ittai nani" than my other translation.
You can't make this stuff up, people. :tem
Oh god. Do you really take crap for that? Give me a good, natural, contextualized translation any day. Very funny, btw. :)
If you take the text appart word by word, you get something even less legible. Try babblefishing any Japanese text and that's pretty much what you'll get. But yeah, the syntax is very, very different, to the point where you can't translate directly from one language to the other.
It's just an entirely different beast, which is why often two you'll get two equally accurate translations without a word in common.
