Separate topic 'cuz the other one's just too dang long (hard to edit due to lag on my connection).

This comes from the last 4 pages of the raw, a series of 4-panel comics. On what? let's find out!

oh, before that...
the "first" two pages from the end (and they were in ch 1) are just these little fan art/support contests. 4 ways: Readers send in artwork, short blurbs on their monster hunter adventures, a 4-panel comic, or a strange picture of where people play MH...(weird!). The more you send in, you rank up, and qualify for prizes (calling card and some autograph thing)--so you're not missing anything in my skipping them.

Effective this issue, we're going to start a new project, bringing you 4-panel strips in this section entitled "A Hunter's Life"! Coming to you live from Mikuni Shin, an assistant who works right alongside Mashima-sensei, he'll be illustrating all sorts of interesting stories from his adventures in the Monster Hunter game series!

left vertical: Mikuni Shin - Took runner-up in the First ever Shounen Rival Comic Competition. His winning entry "Spray King" was published in the first issue, receiving high acclaim. He's currently doing assistant work for Mashima-sensei!

-Since it was taking so long I went to the store and bought it
-He couldn't wait just a few more hours!?

-LONGSWORD MASTER-

-Team Mashima's very own Mikuni collected nothing but longswords in MHP2nd

-In fact, he has nothing but longswords in his item vault
-Woah...

-His longsword skills are second to none...
-He's the unequaled Hunter, who never runs out of health!

-Mikuni-san...quit stalling and get out of the camp site (starting map) already!!
-GYAHAHAA! That'll keep you from runnin' out of health!

vertical right: Thanks to 2nd G's new Guild Cards, you can now see the numbers of the different weapons you've used...but Mikuni's longsword-only obsession just isn't normal!!
