These two weeks netted some interesting new manga so my picks for these two weeks are:
Good Ending (I like romance),
Mushibugyo (art looks good),
Phantom King (IM Dal Young :P),
Princess Lover (I like romance, but I hope it's not an ecchifess >.>), and maybe
Ladies vs Butlers. What do you like?
If you subscribe or buy a manga magazine and would like to contribute to the community, don't hesitate to scan a series or two. I know it takes some time, but anything you do is appreciated. Even scanning a one-shot is really appreciated, so I want to say thanks to the new scanners and uploaders who have brought more new manga to Manga Helpers.
Anyway, since last week had so few newly started series, I've been thinking of maybe doing an article during the weeks that don't have many newly started manga that would either spotlight 1-2 dropped mangas that you think should be scanlated OR on manga that have never been scanlated. If I do an article for dropped mangas, the mangas would of course have to be for mangas that either 1) the group working on it dropped the manga so you need to contact the group to make sure they dropped it or 2) the group disbanded/is inactive so there's no hope for releases. For both dropped and never been scanlated manga, I'd of course need your suggestions for the mangas that should be featured. I'd also need your help to write a small review (see
here for a review template) about the manga as well as why you think people should start/pick up and scanlate a new/dropped series and of course credit you with any help you give me. What do you guys/girls think? Hopefully, this will both introduce new manga to people as well as maybe get people together to scanlate a series. ^_^

Too bad there are so many good seinen that haven't been done. I'm going to focus on old series only.

Won't a short message (on why you think it should be scanlated) do? Maybe reasons why it should be scanlated isn't necessary at all. Just post a pic then the necessary details (title, author, plot, if dropped what chapter it stopped, etc.) and it's enough to catch the attention of interested scanlators. And well, in that way, more than 2 series could be in the spotlight, just like the shoutouts~ There will be many choices~
And okayz, fine, I also said that because the template seemed long to me ^^; ehehehehe . . . .

@ Gomenasai: Do you mean give updates on past shout out mangas? I don't really know what you mean when you tell me to "finish what I started."
@ Unproductive: Why not give some suggestions for some old but good seinens that haven't been scanlated so far and PM them to me with maybe a short summary and I'll post it up to bring some attention to the manga?
@ sapphire-pyro: I wasn't thinking of just writing an article featuring manga that only I wanted to get picked up. I was asking for help from you guys to maybe suggest new or dropped manga so I get a variety of different manga to feature/bring some attention to. I don't think you guys really want to see an article on a bunch of shoujo romance mangas. :P
@ Kajii: someone else uploaded the color picture, but I'm not exactly sure it's the correct image. There are indeed 2 series with that name and both have the same author, but different artists, so I'm not sure if they have the same story line or not... I hope someone who can read Japanese can clarify if they are two completely different storylines or not...

@ Galooza: Actually it started in March according to the wiki page, but then again they could be wrong since they got the mangaka's name wrong since they listed the mangaka as Yū Midorigi instead of Mura Midorigi...
@ Kajii: Not sure if they are completely different, but it looks like they already published the first volume of the 'comic alive' version, although it says its chapters are released by mobile download. So if you have the money to, you could buy the first volume instead of buying the comic alive magazine. Oh, and thanks of course for scanning stuff from the comic valkyrie magazine. It doesn't really seem like the scanners for share scan from that magazine often so if there's any one-shots (or newly started series) in there, I'd really appreciate it if you scanned it. ^_^
Oh, and I'm surprised that no one is really expressing interest in phantom king. I thought Im Dal Young was a popular mangaka.
