This manga is based on the cell-phone rpg of the same name. Two children, Kiriru and Ignato, are born to a life of fighting. Their mother hopes that they will not end up having to fight alone. As a teenager, Kiriru does not like his assigned destiny, but he must fight monsters or many other people will die. Will he accept his fate, and will he ever find a partner?

His pride wouldn’t let him accept that he wasn’t able to provide for his own family, but when the time came when he could no longer keep it a secret, he reunites with Randake Shiro. They were old thrill seeking high school buddies, but where Isamu gave that up when he grew up, Isamu stayed an adrenaline junkie. Isamu works under the name Absurd and is known for filming impossible footage that no one else would dare to capture like driving 200mph to chase a phantom driver or secret yakuza transactions. With no other method of providing income to his family, Isamu is forced to be Absurd’s partner.

There is a little pawnshop on a hill that's run by a cheerful, energetic high school girl! Shizuku is no ordinary high school girl, though-- she can communicate with objects and help them to tell their stories to their owners. She doesn't seem to accept objects very often, but she regularly helps her customers gain insight into their own life through their belongings.

But when Makoto comes back from New Zealand as an inspirational and amazing rugby player, he convinces the team to stand up once again and keep their promise they made years ago.

Mizutani-sensei is a teacher who documents his struggles to help troubled teens, while walking the "night patrol" of Yokohama City. He deals with people who have troubled home lives, who have fallen into gangs or drug use, or who struggle with self-harm or desires for suicide. It is a challenging, and sometimes seemingly impossible task. The story opens with Masashi, a boy who had a very difficult life, and who later fell in with a gang and began abusing drugs. He was once a kind, hardworking, well-meaning kid, but is he now too far gone to save?

This is what tethysdust said this week:
Nobunaga no Chef is really weird! I guess being a great cook is one skill that's bound to be appreciated no matter what your era, though. Yomawari Sensei was interesting to read, but really sad. Iroha Saka Nobotte Sugu was cute, but the premise is very similar to other manga I've seen. Chaos Rings might be one to check out if you're into battle manga.

Upset 15 - always love sports series and this one does it for me too. Rugby is a sport I know nothing of so reading this will be interesting as well as educational. Maybe the next Eyeshield 21?

Houdou Gang Absurd - I like this series because it exposes you to a lot of the urban legends of our time and the characters' adventure to find the truth.
My opinion:
Nobunaga no Chef sounds pretty different from all the Nobunaga manga since it features his chef. I'd be most interested in trying out Yomawari Sensei. It'd be interesting to see how a single teacher can make a difference in a child's life.
