Scavenger Hunt
After much wait and anticipation, Mangahelpers is proud to announce the return of the Scavenger Hunt! The Hunt will kick-off what we hope will be a "Summer of Fun" here with our community.
The game proved a success from the first time we organised it last year and are happy to host it again as many members will be on their summer break and so it feels like the perfect opportunity get a big gathering.
As per last year's rules, the game is separated in 8 rounds, with each lasting a day. Players will have 24hrs to solve the day's riddle and advance to the next day where you'll be given the next riddle to solve by PMing one of the mods in charge with your previous answer.
The person with the highest amount of points by day 8 will be crowned Best Hunter and rewarded for their effort with a winner's badge and custom title.
If you are interested in taking part and/or would like to know more about the game, then visit the
Sign-up thread for more information.
Happy Hunting~!
Olympic Games are world’s foremost sports competition which is held every four years with participation of thousands of athletes from more than 200 nations worldwide. It's an ancient tradition which dates back to 8th century BC and this year it will take place in London, United Kingdom, from 27th July to 12th August. There will be more than 300 events in 26 sports categories with more than 10,000 athletes participating to win the prestigious Olympic gold medal in this two-week event.
We, as Mangahelpers community, will greet this major event with a contest which will hopefully make the overall Olympics experience even more enjoyable. The participants of this contest will try to predict the medal winners in various events and win points for each correct prediction they make. The contestant with highest number of points will win the contest and be awarded a badge which symbolizes his/her success.
Since there are more than 300 events in London Olympics, unfortunately most of these events will be left out and only some of them will be included as contest categories. We ask you to share your opinions about the events which you'd like to see in the contest. You can post your comments in
Olympics 2012 - Events voting thread.
Thanks for your participation, have fun.
