Done! This makes it 2+ years and 100 chapters since I started posting public Naruto translations. Others have come and gone, but good ol' HBK's still here for ya and will remain here until this crazy ninja world we call Naruto rides off into the sunset.
I'd just like to say that while I don't take credit for starting the whole "public translation" movement, I like to think that I helped it grow and hope everyone with something to contribute will do so. We're all fans and the only result from competition between people or groups should be higher-quality stuff and no insults or degrading other people's work.

It's almost powerless now, compared to earlier...

So basically, the more you use your little shadow techniques,
the weaker they get.

hmm what i like about your translations is that you make the dialogues more funny and hmm passionate? couse some ppl make them so emotionless and borring
adding a little color to already boring chapters is priceless

But yeah we did indeed meet at NF and it started to get more frequent there :p. I do have to give you props for your diligence. I translated only when I felt there was a need, if I was bored, and if I had time^^;
But why ask for donations?? I mean it's not like you are in real need for it? (of course free money is nice but :p)
You have me beat on the earliest, but I was the first person (that I noticed) to start doing it on a (mostly) regular basis.
The donation thing was, I will be honest, the result of a slightly-drunk brainstorm I had as I was reading through the part in DBZ where #18 extorts Mr. Satan for the tournament prize money, as well as a logical precursor to trying to see boobies.
haha yeah- I seriously didn't post regularly until I saw how bad Inane's translations could get :s (that and at that time I was trying to find a way to up the hits to my site^^; ) But never the less~ yes you indeed help spark interest in the whole message board translation area. I don't think I could have kept it going without you so a major :ossu from me to you Hisshou :D
Ah- so the donations were indeed used/ to buy pron(or intended?), a worthy cause for donated money ;) (Or did I read that wrong :p)
It was pretty much a joke - there was no money received, and I never really expected anyone to send anything. If they had, I would have thanked them profusely and spent it on DDR :D
And it's been my pleasure! You helped me out with some mistakes back in the day and kept me motivated to keep studying eve after the JLPT (which I never got to take this year because the nearest test center's a few hundred miles away :P)
