Asahi and her friend Yamato went together to an exclusive event as test players for a new game from the cellphone-game company "Sky Nova." The test players were a diverse lot of all ages, from ordinary teens like Asahi to popular idols. The company took all of them on a cruise to explain the rules of this island-based, treasure-hunting survival game. Suddenly, during the presentation, all of the participants lost consciousness. They woke up on an actual island wearing a strange watch with the words "Game Start." Now they are all stuck in this survival game, which has become all too real and deadly!

At Sakashita Tomomi's high school, there is a ghost story about a girl named Mamiya Reiko. One of Reiko's female classmates fell in love with her, but Reiko rejected her. The angry girl then killed Reiko, cut off her head, and jumped to her death with it from the 4th floor of the school building. When her body was found, both heads were missing. It is said that you can summon Reiko's vengeful ghost by reciting a line in the classroom from which her murderer leapt.

Tomomi went up to the classroom on an errand from a teacher, and walked in on a girl chanting the summons. The girl, Akane, was a stranger who came by to check out the ghost story. Now the two girls are trapped in the suddenly eerily empty school building. Will they make it to the morning in one piece!?

Tsugumi is hoping to be on her way to television stardom with a major role on a kid-focused action show. Unfortunately, the show is so unpopular that it gets almost immediately reworked! The producers decide to make all the characters be scantily clad hot girls. Whenever someone questions the direction they're taking the show, they have the easy excuse, "No one's watching it anyway!"

Now they've hired three idol girls, but are frustrated with how inept they are at action sequences. Then one of the special effects staffers, Satsuma Tokuko, gets angry and shows them some serious kicking action. Highly impressed, they press Tokuko into a role, despite her rough appearance and complete lack of acting experience. Now they have their full cast, but will their show, "Inishie Shishin Mahoroban" ever become a success?!

This is what tethysdust said this week:
My favorite this week was Danzai no Ake, by far. The plot is more complex than the summary probably makes it sound, and I really liked the art as well. I think Cry-eye could be neat. However, it seems to be a Battle-Royale clone with cliched characters. Really, it depends on where they take the story from here. Maga Tsuki was also cute. The art was pretty, and it seems like it wil be a silly romance story.
My opinion:
Only one really interested me and that was Cry Eye. It sounds exciting and survival manga always seem pretty interesting to me, like Doubt, and Enigma.
