One small island contains two constantly warring countries. On this island, black-haired people are royalty, other people are commoners, and people with the ears and tails of animals are considered "Ajin", or subhuman.

In order to secure peace, the abnormally red-haired princess of the northern kingdom, Nakaba, has been sent to the south to become the bride of second son of the southern king, called Caesar. In truth, she's more like a hostage, as her life will likely last only as long as the peace between the two kingdoms. Nakaba's only ally is her Ajin servant Loki, who she has known for most of her life.

Like a typical teenager, there is nothing Tsubaki Ryuuta wants more than to not stand out from the people around him. Unfortunately, on his way to school one day, he is run over by an alien. The alien promptly resurrects him, but now he has superpowers that he can't control. The alien, now in sparrow form, attempts to help guide him, but there's no way for a kid who's constantly breaking things and has an alien sparrow perched on his shoulder to blend in at school. For his part, the alien is completely bewildered Ryuuta's continuing refusal to use his superpowers to fight crime and evil. Will Ryuuta be able to get over his self-consciousness and embrace his new life?

This is what tethysdust said this week:
Sora no Oto (So Ra No Wo To) sort of reminded me of Aria, but with trumpets and military. Taboo Tattoo seemed like a fun story, it had lots of action. There are three love triangle mangas this week: Blue seemed more about overcoming socially constructed limits on relationships than about romance itself. Kanajo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteru was interesting, though I felt a little sorry for the little high schooler. Reimei no Arcana was my favorite of those, I hope more raws come out soon!
Reimei no Arcana definitely looks pretty to look at, although I'm not sure I'd be interested in it or not. If you want to see what So Ra No Wo To looks like before the anime airs, go check it out. Taboo-Tattoo looks nice to look at and I'm a bit curious about the tattoo power. Hmm... but it sounds like that manga that has stickers and powers. XD I guess the manga I'd like to see the most get scanlated based off of descriptions is Uchuu no Sparrow. Yay for alien super powers. :P
