Welcome to the next New Manga Shout Out. This weekly article introduces you to manga that are new and/or have not been scanlated yet. The very tall Ryudo Kagetora aims to be the best basketball player in Japan! He has chosen a formerly famous basketball high school, in order to bring it to new glory. He also dislikes girls, ever since a girl beat him at basketball in grade school.

There is also another new ace player joining the basketball team, Ichinomiya Chiaki. However, Chiaki was an ace on the middle school women's basketball team. She becomes a man when she's on the basketball court, and she was kicked out of women's basketball team when her quirk is revealed. Ryudo learns her secret, and reluctantly becomes her ally and roommate!

As numerous demons and aliens enter their school realm, they form an uneasy alliance to defeat the evils they face.

This 4-koma style manga covers the daily life in a little coffee shop. This little coffee shop has a little, child-like boss, 30-year-old Tsukishima Aya. She's extremely fast at her job, though, and very precise in her work. 25-year-old Senkawa Tomoko is the waitress, a larger woman than little Aya, who complements Aya's personality.

Ever since they were little, twins Itsuka and Rika could see what others could not. At first, they believed that they were seeing ghosts and spirits, but when they turned 14 they realized everything. They realized that what they saw was the depiction of regret and self-disgust in people who know that they did something wrong. They see these disturbing images whether they wanted to or not, so in many cases their curiosity leads them into trouble. In every case, these two try to bring peace to the person who holds the dark secrets.

This is what tethysdust said this week:
Funouhan was very dark, with creatively disturbing stories. It appears to be mostly episodic so far, but a couple of the characters appear to be beginning to recur. I think that the police's effort to pin some sort of actual crimes on the killer guy might be what starts to come up in the future. Pokopoko Coffee Kibun was a pretty cute slice of life type story. I'm not really into sports manga, so Buddy!! seemed a bit silly to me. I think it would be interesting for anyone looking for an intersection between sports manga and gender-bender manga, though.

My opinion:
I'm probably the most interested in Funouhan since I want to know what the people had to pay to assassinate someone. The mysterious man wouldn't just do it for free, I would think...
