Nonaga Hiromasa is an up and coming soccer coach who has made a name for himself for bringing multiple teams from literally nothing to the top in the country. What’s even more impressive is that he just entered high school! He was recruited into his current high school as the new soccer coach, and his observation skills and ability to predict the opponents’ movement make his sole presence enough to win games.

The fact that Hiromasa is going to be coaching at the high school has many top soccer players flocking to this school, but none stand out more to him than Sakamichi Kappo. Not only can Kappo score a goal from half field with his powerful kick, but his ball control is second to none. Initially, Kappo didn’t want to play on a team because he thought no one understood “his soccer style,” but when Hiromasa was able to understand it, Kappo decideds to play for the team. Will the brilliant coach and the talented player be able to take the high school soccer world by storm?

Although they have many opportunities to talk to each other, they never have for years now. They barely acknowledge each other, even though they have met hundreds of times. But when Osamu learns that Madoka is going to quit swimming school when she starts high school, something emotional starts to grow inside of Osamu. First, it began with nothing more than curiosity, but soon it blossomed into something more real. He has to tell Madoka what he is feeling before he never sees her again.

Soon, the tasks escalate beyond what the kids are willing to do, and they learn that the cost of failure is death. Will they be able to find a way out of the Ousama Game before more people die, and the living lose their integrity and humanity through their participation in the increasingly horrible daily tasks?

There's a tiny village that boasts a beautiful view of the night sky. Soon, the village will no longer exist, as it will be the site of a strange new power plant. The villagers have one year to leave their home, and the giant poles being constructed all around the village are a constant reminder. Kotarou is furious, and determined to save his home, but what can a little elementary school kid accomplish?

At the beginning of summer vacation, two new people move into town: a friendly young woman, Ozaki Kanna, and a young man with an intimidating glare, Tsuka Touma. Kanna claims that she has come to look for shooting stars, but why would they bother moving to the village now, with the power plant construction looming in the near future?

27-year-old Nakamura Kyoko has a recurring dream of swimming through the sky. Although that might sound pleasant, her dream swimming is actually difficult, exhausting, and even painful. The dreams reflect the stress and indecision of her current life.

Kyoko is a female announcer for a tv morning show, and her boyfriend Ryousuke is a professional baseball player. Ryousuke has been hired to play in America, and he wants Kyoko to come with him and marry him. She loves him, but accepting his proposal will also mean the end of all of her career dreams. At the same time, Kyoko is running into various problems at the station, not the least of which is sexual harassment. Kyoko is not certain that she's willing to give what it takes to be a top tv announcer. Will Kyoko be able to figure out what she truly wants out of her life and have the determination to see it through?

Sora wo Oyogu Onna and Ousama Game stood out the most this time. Sora wo Oyogu Onna is an engaging drama about a woman who is trying to figure out her life. Ousama Game is an intriguing story that is vaguely Battle Royale-ish. I'm really curious to find out who is running the Game and why. Moon Lost is an interesting hard SF story. Sayonara Folklore is kind of a fluffy girl's romance. Rosetta kara no Shoutaijou seemed very peaceful, but it was also full of mysteries.
Here's a note from vyc:
Lillia and Treize - I'm not sure if this series is based on some game or different series but the characters seemed well developed and the plot line was mysterious and fun. Dois Sol - new series on Jump. Sorta like other sports series but with a little twist that not only is there a talented player but the coach is brilliant too. Would be interesting to see what crazy strategy the pair will come up with.
My opinion:
Getsu・Sui・Kin wa Swimming looks like a cute little romance I'd want to check out. :3 However, the one that really piqued my interest is Ousama Game, which reminds me a little of Enigma and other psychological manga. I definitely hope someone picks this manga up. :) Sora wo Oyogu Onna sounds like something else I'd be interested in reading~
