To bring back the beauty of Japanese femininity, she created the Amazon Academy, a girls-only school, on an artificial island isolated in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Amesu Kumi just transferred into Amazon Academy to investigate the death of her older sister, Towa, who also attended the school until she died in a shroud of mystery. The only clue she has is the name Burai Sachiko left in Towa’a cell phone. How could Kumi have known that the school literally turns into a battlefield when classes are over; where petite girls beat each other senseless in order to survive.

My favorite this week was Satsuki no Sora. The premise is out there, but it was a pretty decent story. I could see this becoming really interesting if it's picked up for serialization.
Here's what vyc had to say:
Henshuuou - Liked the concept of a manga series about a manga magazine. The main character is honest, good hearted but isn't hesitant to say what's on his mind. Little bit old school but still a good read. I liked it. Tokyo Girls Destruction - who doesn't like school girls duking it out. Add a little storyline so that the fighting makes sense and you got a good series.
My opinion:
Himegami Gadget reminds me a bit of Transformers. I mean, c'mon, a car turning into a robot... XD On the other hand, Hoshi wo Tsugumono sounds really interesting. The idea that humans were on the moon 50,000 years ago, or that humans even existed that long ago is mind boggling. I really hope someone picks this up so we can find out how that's possible~ Strings Dolls sounds like a nice concept too and looks like another take on a 'game'-type situation. Tokyo Girls Destruction sounds a bit like Battle Royale, but for girls, perfect for guys that like to see girls battle it out and probably rip off a bit of their clothes in the process... It also reminds me of the manga in Bakuman - Panty Flash... I wonder if the authors were reading this manga when they came up with that idea...
