One day, elementary student Takeru meets a very strange new friend-- a Pachycephalosaurus named Packy! He's traveled from "The Lost World," a place where extinct animals live together. When Mikoto was little, she first heard the voices of plants. She also gained flower markings on her face and body, as a sign of her connection to them. By the time she was in high school, Mikoto took to wearing clothes specifically designed to cover everything, but she still couldn't escape her classmates' bullying.

One day, a strange and exuberant transfer student, Aozakura Yuji, appears and takes an interest in Mikoto. He's determined to start a flower arrangement club, but with a twist: he wants to photograph beautiful girls arranged with flowers. He first pursues Mikoto, both for her beauty and because he bears the same flower markings as she does. After he photographs her for a promotional poster, everyone at school can see the beauty of Mikoto and her flower markings. Will Aozakura's flower arrangement club succeed? Is this the start of a new high school life for Mikoto?

Three romance stories set against the historical backdrop of the conflicts between the Genji (a.k.a, Minamoto) and Heike (a.k.a. Taira) clans.

1) Hoshi no Negai wo: In 1174, the Heike were in power, and they were searching for the Genji heir, who had gone into hiding. In the same city, a young woman named Shizuka, who had lost her parents in the war, is a dancing girl and prostitute. One night, a man called Torazou paid for her company, but he did not sleep with her. Instead, he talked with her, and began to teach her to read and write. What will become of their relationship?

2) Akatsuki no Kanata ni: The time is 1183, during the Genpei war. Tomoe has always been a very masculine girl, and she can outfight and outdrink many men. Since childhood, she's been by the side of Minamoto no Yoshinaka, who she has come to love. Now that they're adults, Yoshinaka is a Genji general and Tomoe fights by his side. However, war is a dangerous time for love...

3) Kimi Itohoshi: The time is 1184, during the Genpei war. Self-sufficient Kaede lives alone on a mountain, with only her hawk Kakeru for company. Her solitude is broken by Yoshitsune's Genji army when one of the soldiers, the young Nasu no Yoichi, blunders into her hunting grounds. She allows herself to be drawn into the army's world, crushing on Yoshitsune and treating Yoichi as a little brother. However, as her role in the war becomes more complicated and dangerous, her feelings for Yoichi are beginning to become more than that of an older sister...

Zeo, a mysterious young wizard with a giant sword, finds himself in the city of Monea. However, demon summoning magic is forbidden, punishable by death. Tia needs to learn about the art of demon summoning, and she needs a wizard for the summoning itself. Little does she know, Zeo actually has his very own illegal summoned demon, which is why he was so insistent that he wanted to adventure alone. Will he be willing to help Tia with her quest, or will his secret lead to his execution?

This is what tethysdust said this week:
There's lots of variety this week. Kimi Itohoshi is there for fans of romance, particularly romance with a historical context. Hana Michi Otome and Super Oresama Love Story cover the over-the-top school-life comedies. Otome Historic is a school-life manga for those who like things a bit more ecchi. Ojousama wa Budoukai de Odoru is there for fans of sports-based school life manga. Neun Edda is a bit more serious, action-based story (I put the mature tag for violence, not sexual content). Wizardry Zeo is there for fans of traditional fantasy (the world seemed essentially like a fantasy MMO). Lastly, for the slightly younger audience, there's Genson! Kodai Seibutsu-shi Packy, a comedy manga about dinosaurs reappearing in the modern day.
My opinion:
Hana Michi Otome kind of sounds interesting. People always ostracize/bully those who are different but it's great to learn that people learn the beauty of those who are different. Nuen Edda really reminds me of Gunslinger Girl, but it's probably because of the young girl handling a gun aspect. Super Oresama Love Story sounds pretty funny. I hope the guy gets over his shyness~ Wizardry ZEO looks like a good adventure story with a bit of a twist~
