Welcome to the next New Manga Shout Out. With the no-raws/scans rule on MH, you have to work a bit to find these mangas. Amahara Mushin was adopted into the family when Sayaka, also an adopted daughter, found him abandoned in the park and brought him home. They have been close since a young age and trained kendo together at the dojo that their family owns. Mushin admires his big sister and has tremendous romantic feelings for her. Sayaka soon realizes that she too has grown complex feelings for him. When a new elite school, Avalon Academy, is built in Mushin and Sayaka’s town and the students there start threatening the well being of the community, the siblings stand up against the takeover.

When Fuyusaki finds out about the great knife skill Fuuka harbors, she challenges Fuuka with the pride of being the Bride’s club president at hand. Even though her knife skills are defeated by the Bridal Kitchen skills of Fuyusaki, after some encouragement from Kouki, Fuuka returns to the Bride’s club to enter the club and aim for the title “Bride of Brides”! Will Fuuka’s knife skills and determination lead her to be the nation’s best bride?!

In the year 788 on the day later known as the Night of the Black Full Moon, aliens arrived in Japan via asteroids. These aliens were vicious powerful creatures who fed on humans and terrorized the nation but were eventually sealed away by a small group of people with special powers. Over a millennium later, the ancestors of the heroes called the Inyo work as the Army’s special unit to defeat the same aliens that have started to leak into the world due to the weakening of the sealing spell. Sakaki Yuko is a soldier for the Inyo, fighting against the aliens on the front lines. Her violent life started when she was forced to kill her lover, Seishiro, but in return, Yuko gained the ability to channel his spiritual power to fight evenly with the powerful aliens.

This is another addition to the popular Ikebukuro West Gate Park universe, which features the young man Majima Makoto. Makoto lives in an area that is known for gang problems and delinquency, and it is currently dominated by two gangs. Their colors are black and red, and they are known as the G-boys and the R-angels, respectively. Makoto is not a member of either, but his old friend from school, Takashi, is the head of the G-boys gang. The head of the R-angels, which is a gang that only formed in the past year, is a mysterious dancer known as Kyouichi.

One day, Makoto is approached by a young video journalist named Matsui Kana. Kana convinces Makoto to be her guide in IWGP as she films for a documentary about the area. Kana may end up getting more than she bargained for, both in Makoto and in the dangerous area of IWGP.

Rookie manga author Himesaki Momoko, an introverted high school girl, brought her proudest work to the publisher to see if they would put it in one of their shoujo magazines. Momoko’s shyness and nervousness caused a misunderstanding and, although her work was highly praised and given a spot in the magazine, it was published in a moe magazine instead of a shoujo one. Feeling down on herself, Momoko soon learns that her classmate and crush, Igarashi, despises the moe genre, but, for an odd reason, takes interest in the work Momoko did. Since her work was published under a different name, Igarashi didn’t find out it was Momoko’s series, but she has to do something before he finds out that she's an author for a moe magazine and gets totally hated.

Twenty year old Ibuki Yamato is a man who failed his college exam twice, making him now a 2-year ronin. Even though he is on his way to go live at a dormitory owned by his childhood friend’s family, misfortune comes to him during his trip through Tokyo. On the train, he accidentally falls into the bosom of a female cosplayer. At a bookstore, the store clerk innocently tells him not to loiter, where her persistence causes him to rip the store-owned book he was reading. As he rushes to get money to pay for the book, he bumps into a delivery girl, which causes him to pay even more money, before he’s called a criminal. Though he is fortunate enough to help two ladies take back their belongings, which were stolen by a purse-napper, Yamato is dead tired when he reaches the dormitory.

But his troubles are not at all over, when he finds out that the female cosplayer, the store clerk girl, the delivery girl and the two other ladies from before are all residents of this dormitory as well. Adding to this fact, all of these girls are foreigners who have come to study abroad. Will Yamato find peace under a roof with five other girls of different backgrounds?

Ryouko is a pretty prudish young teenager, who doesn't even like romantic dramas on tv. One day after school, Ryouko sees her friend Miki crying while an attractive young teacher has sex with her. Instead of helping Miki, Ryouko feels frozen to the spot. Eventually, seeing Miki like that spurs her to seek out a sexual experience of her own with a boy who asks her out. Unfortunately, her tentative steps towards exploring sex quickly spiral into a nightmare. In the meantime, Miki can't figure out how to handle her own sexuality. While it may not have started out as consensual, her body enjoys sex with her teacher, and she can't help coming back for more. She can't figure out whether she really wants him or a nice boy her own age. Unfortunately for her, the adult man who is taking advantage of her sees her as nothing more than a sex toy. Will these two young girls find a way to navigate the dangerous and confusing world of sex?

This is what tethysdust said this week:
IWGP-R was my favorite this week. It's a part of a really popular series, so I imagine it will have a lot of readers. I've never read/watched the other IWGP series, though, so I have no idea how it stacks up against the rest.
Here's what vyc had to say:
Chiguhagu Lovers - definitely my favorite from this week. Great artwork and all the characters are lovable and easy to connect with. Storyline is well constructed and picks up quickly and the comedy keeps the tension lighthearted.
Now for Midori-Mori's take on his manga:
This week's series bloomed like flowers for me. Hanayome no Kaze is a nice series where you can see the girl's pride in being a bride. But I loved Salad Bowl. Though its scenario is reminiscent of the cliche manga we know, "Love Hina," I'm sure you'll love this series just the same with all its assorted characters.

My opinion:
Nothing particularly piqued my interest.
