A nonsense gag comedy manga about people who are described as "pretty" and "cool" although they are generally shown to be the opposite. This is a mostly 4-koma style manga about the life of a professional killer, 'Koroshiya-san." It is a selection of comics from the manga of the same name, Koroshiya-san. Koroshiya-san is incredibly skilled at his work and has even acquired a little orphan boy apprentice who wants to grow up to be just like him. His one weakness is his perverted side. He's constantly doing perverted things or misunderstanding things in ridiculously perverted ways.

A teenage girl has dedicated her life to killing Koroshiya-san to avenge her father's death. Unfortunately for her, she's not skilled enough to even be a threat to him, and he refuses to fight her. However, she has one weapon at her disposal. He misinterprets almost everything she says as something explicitly sexual, causing him to collapse in sexual fantasy induced hemorrhaging! Will she end up defeating him through constantly inducing nosebleeds?

To their surprise, they also find Suzuri's older non-blood-related brother, who tries, in vain, to protect them from the worst of the weirdness. But what is this mysterious cat, and where does it come from? How will the lives of the Ichinose girls change now that they've accepted Tonnura-san into their family?

Koroshiya-san was pretty funny. The Haruki Selection appears to be simply a subset of the Koroshiya-san strips. Some of the jokes are very sexual in nature, so beware! Also, Tonnura-san is incredibly weird. I think it's the strangest manga I've read in a while.

Two series this week that I really enjoyed. First one is K2. Apparently a sequel to an already accomplished series about a medical surgeon who helps people with their illness. Has the feel of a modern day BlackJack if anyone is familiar with the old series by Tezuka Osamu. A great read. Second is Kintoki. Drawn by the famous author Toriyama Akira (Dragon Ball if you didnt know). Hopefully it does get picked up and the series continues. The story sounds and looks familiar. Not sure if that is a good thing or bad thing but anything from Toriyama sensei can't be bad.
My opinion:
Suzuri Shikkou Chuu seems a little interesting due to the fact that there's a bear that goes to school. XD Yomidoki might be good for a cute short romance one-shot.
