But when she learns that Bambi has turned a little feminine, it crushes her love but she comes up with a plan to turn him back into the old, brave and manly Bambi by making him join the Judo team and remember what it is like to be the alpha male.

Ever since he was a kid, Tenku has had a little guardian spirit named Hirenmaru looking after him. No one could see Hirenmaru except for Tenku, and the spirit often does more harm than good in his efforts to help Tenku with his social problems. The night before his first day of high school, Tenku has the same dream he has always had of a beautiful girl. He has seen her so many times, he feels certain he would love her if he met her in real life.

Amazingly, he meets his dream girl, Itsuki Kanade, right away at his new high school! He fails horribly at making a good first impression, but they soon discover a strange connection between them. Kanade can see Tenku's guardian spirit, and Tenku can see hers, a powerful ninja called Jinrai. What does this all mean? Were they somehow destined to meet?

In a small town in Japan, the race for the mayor is on fire and the main topic of debate is the major dam construction. Daisho Ataru, who came back to his hometown after he built a career in the city, is the candidate against the construction and is favored to win. With the support of his beautiful and sexy wife, Momoe, Ataru has gained momentum against his opponent.

As the election grows near, the tension between the two parties reaches its peak and a heated argument turns ugly when Ataru is knocked down to the ground and dies on the spot. Yazawa Kanji, who is old high school friends with both Momoe and Ataru, agrees to impersonate Ataru to preserve the state of the village and has to live the life of Ataru, including living with the widowed Momoe, as if nothing happened. With only a handful of people knowing what really happened, Kanji (now Ataru) wins the election but several years later, the villagers who know the truth start to die in strange ways. Someone seems to be taking justice into their own hands...

Ichijou Raku is an honor student with outstanding grades and an admirable conduct. He has a female childhood friend named Kirisaki Chitoge who have slightly better grades than him, or so he says. They haven't been getting along since the day of Christmas after they gave each other gifts, and they also have opposite taste of things.

Their families are currently on a war because of business rivalry, the boy's family are Yakuzas while the girl's family are gangsters. The leaders of both groups would like to get along, because if the war will not be stopped, there will surely be many casualties, and the problem is that their underlings wouldn't listen to them, so they decided on something that will make them cooperate, they want Ichijou and Kirisaki to become lovers so that their families will come to an understanding with each other.

But the problem doesn't end there, both families already know that the two of them don't get along with each other, so to make sure they are really lovey-dovey with each other, the followers of each party followed them on their date, from watching movies, to singing in the karaoke bar, shopping and in the amusement park.

Will the two of them become official lovers and make their families get along? Or will their families continue to fight and create many troubles along with it?

Although they may be in space, the Nobeyama family still functions as if they were still on Earth with its ups and downs.

Mori no Asagao was kind of interesting this week, though the art is pretty strange. Everything else seemed pretty standard fare.

Here's a note from vyc:
Momoe no Hip - mature mystery series. Think soap opera manga series. Majin Senki Hagun - very well drawn and cool story line. Futuristic soldier in ancient time, kicking ass. Ippon Bambi - sports comedy, hope it stays funny and doesn't turn into a full sports manga or take itself too seriously.
My opinion:
Momoe no Hip is the clear winner of the bunch. I love a good mystery and this one sounds pretty good~ Sorairo Square looks like a cute romance manga.
