This is a sequel to Saijou no Meii. Dr. Mogami currently has two major problems on his mind. The first is that the young, genius surgeon from the previous series, Saijou Mikoto, has fallen terribly ill. The second is his delinquent, shut-in son, Yoshiaki. He just knows that Yoshiaki has a lot of potential, but he's failed at raising him. Yoshiaki is nothing but a lazy, arrogant, spoiled brat.

After Dr. Mogami kicks him out of the house, in hopes that it will do him good, Yoshiaki crashes with his childhood friend Date Masamune. Date is also something of a punk, but, to Yoshiaki's surprise, he's decided to try to study to become a doctor. The combined efforts of Date and his father slowly nudge him back on track. After a near-tragic occurrence, Yoshiaki even begins to think that maybe he should become a doctor, too!

But tragedy strikes and a malfunction causes an explosion in Jupitonia and the ship goes missing in deep space, most believing the crew to be dead.

Even with the devastating loss of a friend and hero, Yuuto joins the Core Space Academy to become a super class astronaut (aka Sirius) just like Kosei once was and explore parts of the universe that has not yet been known to man. The competition is cutthroat and he has to become the best of the best if he wants to be where his hero once was. Although the fear of the unknown is immense, Yuuto must learn to overcome it and become the hero for the next generation.

Known as the hardass delinquent of her school, Sotomura is feared by everyone and has a nasty reputation. But in truth, she is an incredibly misinterpreted girl. The mean look everyone thinks she gives is just her not knowing how to smile. The scary comments she makes is only because Sotomura isn’t good at expressing her feelings or taken way out of context. And the badass appearance she has is the result of her believing that cute girly things don’t match her. Not wanting to go on with life like this, Sotomura tries to change her image, but the more she does, the more her reputation becomes more set into stone.

Kyou Curry was adorable and silly, I think anyone looking for a happy, fluffy kind of manga would like it. Hakuryu Legend would probably be interesting for those into yakuza manga. Scatter had too much graphic deviant sexuality (like, poop-related, rape, etc.) for me. If it isn't considered hentai, it's very close.
Here's what vyc had to say:
Radio Heads - Engineers creating cool gadgets and technology. Good mix of comedy and nerdiness. Really fits my taste plus the artwork is well done so it's easy to read.

Star Children - astronaut students trying to make it into the selection that explores the infinitely unknown universe. Maybe it's because of the NASA shutting down space travel thing but I was really interesting in this series. The storyline, message and artwork are all great and I can't wait to read more of it. I think everyone should read it and hope it gains popularity.
My opinion:
Gokudou no Shokutaku sounds a bit interesting. The idea of the leader of the yakuza going back to school while being a foodie is pretty unique. I'm sure there'll be lots of comedy there. I haven't read any pure gambling manga so Junket may be a good manga to try out (if someone scanlates it). I think I'd give Star Children a shot too if it shows what goes into training to be an astronaut.
