Akira has just started high school a week ago and he's already falling behind in the advanced classwork. He finds out that the girl setting next to him in class, Iizuka Chisa, is a witch-in-training when Akira sees her flying on a broom. Chisa is studying to become a full fledged witch by studying magic and attending regular school at the same time in order to learn how to use magic to benefit humanity. Her magic includes the ability to become invisible if you stand inside a circle drawn by a special piece of chalk. Akira tags along as Chisa attempts to create a love potion but little does he know about the last ingredient required in the concoction...

Glory Road isn't just any card game, its a violent, magical game that will decide the new ruler of the world of magic. The deck is the usual 52 card deck of playing cards, ranked in power in the usual way, with aces high. However, each card summons a fighter with unique skills to aid the one wielding it. The players are 13 magical nobles, who begin with 4 cards each. When one player defeats another in battle, they can take one of their cards, and the first one to collect all four kings wins. Among the players is Tsumi, the convicted murderer of the previous monarch, and the previous monarch's granddaughter Filia, who cares more for revenge than glory. Who will win this dangerous magical game?

Then one day, he meets someone significantly stronger than him and, to his surprise, it is a beautiful girl named Fujiki Honami from the Karate Club. Hanza falls instantly in love with her. To his dismay, Fujiki hates Hanza because he uses his strength for violence. In order to prove himself to her and to become stronger, Hanza joins the Karate Club. No one believes he can become good, but they don't know how much perseverance and dedication Hanza truly has.

Pretty Bell is the name given to several generations of young girls who become magic using fighters through the powerful Rin Rod. They are able to summon mythical creatures and weapons to fight against the demon world. Milk and Cocoa are angels from the Heavens sent on a mission to find the next Pretty Bell. Unfortunately for them, the next candidate for the position is Takada Atsushi, a middle aged bodybuilding muscle man who owns his own gym.

Atsushi, as unlikely as it may sound, fits in fairly well with the position. His physical strength and combat skills are enhanced with the magical power, making him a deadly force to be reckoned with. As wave after wave of demon horde come after the new Pretty Bell, the weird looking hero has to protect the human race.

The Oumagadoki Zoo is a filthy hole that's going south. How is this place supposed to ever become number one in the world?!

That's easy: Take Hana's loves for animals, Shiina's mystical "powers" he achieved from his curse, and a bunch of shape-shifting and talking animals and you've got what it takes!

I really enjoyed Kare to Kanojo no (Otaku)^2. I liked the art, and even though he was really socially awkward, the main character was still an interesting (and funny) guy. The setup of Issho ni Kuraso sort of reminded me of Fruits Basket, but Himeno was a lot less optimistic. At least in the first chapter, I thought her grief was written really well. Mobu was ridiculously over the top, but it made me laugh often . The main character even has silly unicorn gangster hair.

Ok guys lots of great series this week.
Mahou Shoujo Pretty Bell - a great comedic twist to a traditional little girls genre. Dont be fooled by the story line, the combat scenes and the villans are pretty great. Hanza Sky - my pick for this week. such a great series that i will 100% keep reading it as it is released. if you read it, you will know exactly what i mean. Flying Witch - a one shot that has lots and lots of potential. The author has a modern comedic sense and the peacefulness of the storyline is absolutely great. Sky Blue - another big series to be featured. Not sure yet where the story line is headed yet but the unique story line, great drawing and the comedy makes it a hit for sure.
My opinion:
I'm a bit intrigued by Glory Road although it reminds me of another card game manga. >.> Kare to Kanojo no (Otaku)² sounds like a cute romantic story. Tsumi to Batsu sounds really appealing with the psychological aspect.
