One Shot:
Takeshi wakes up one day to a cute shinigami, asking him to name his dying wish. Luckily for him, she's new at the job, and messes things up. Now, instead of being dead, he makes a team with the shinigami Kiriko and helps grant the last wishes of people who are dying.

Aida Shizuka is three days from being executed for cruelly murdering his family when a shinigami comes to visit him. It's his little sister Hibiki, who has come to make sure his soul goes to hell! Hibiki has another job on this trip as well, granting the final wish of a girl with heart disease, and she drags her condemned brother along with her. Soon, it becomes apparent that people are not as simple as they may seem, and even Shizuka's guilt is uncertain. Hibiki and Shizuka promise to search together for the truth about their family's death, and they won't let life, death, or trouble in the afterlife get in their way!

This is what tethysdust said this week:
Shinigami-sama ni Saigo no Onegai wo was very different from the oneshot. Actually, other than having shinigami who grant people's last wishes, the story was completely different. It was much darker, and more of a sort of supernatural murder mystery thing. I liked Non Non Biyori, it was very peaceful, kind of like the previous Inakano. It also seemed like it would be pretty easy to translate, if anyone was looking for something like that. Mahiru Adventure was like a 15 year old, insane, Tomb Raider type story, with lots of naked women. I think Entaku no Himeshi was probably the most absurd of the week, but it was pretty funny.
Caterpillar Operetta sounds like a nice cute shounen romance, as well as Megane-chan (although it's probably more ecchi seeing it's seinen), plus it's by the Kodomo no Jikan mangaka. Shinigami-sama ni Saigo no Onegai wo's serialization sounds a lot more interesting and appealing than it's one-shot counterpart (yay for more murder mystery). Karasu Tengu Uju Nago Mikkusu looks really cute and it features tengus and sleeping gods, which is always good~ I guess people might like Jiya since it's by Toriyama (Dragonball) and the creator of Zetman, although I didn't when I checked out the raw. Then again I can't understand the Japanese, so prove me wrong if it's really good. ^^
