The Otohime Private All-Girls High School is a very prestigious school and full of pretty girls. However, there is one male student attending the school, the director's son Ouji. Ouji is a creepy pervert who can get away with anything because his father doesn't punish him. He's got video cameras all over the school to get footage of his classmates naked or near-naked and constantly sneaks around with cameras to get photos of them. The school is his paradise.

All this will change in the coming year, though. His father has decided to make the school co-ed, but with only baseball players so that they can aim for winning the National High School Baseball Championship at Koshien Stadium. In preparation for this grand dream, the director insists that the girls of the school establish a cheerleading squad. Seeing his glorious world collapsing around him, Ouji latches on to the most hopeful thing he can find: the cheerleading squad. Now he and the reluctant student council president, Itsuki, are going to recruit members and try to get this team going!

Two prisoners managed to escape after a police truck carrying them to prison crashed on the highway. One of them, Mr. Sawazaki, is a gangster who has sent ten of his enemy yakuza bosses to the hospital. The other, called "You" -- our protagonist -- is a con artist whose career in fraud has accumulated approximately 100 billion yen.

Desperate circumstances result in "You" and Sawazaki posing respectively as a new teacher and a groundskeeper for a nearby high school in order to avoid the police. Assuming the name "Takeda Shindo," he enters a contract with the headmaster to execute a series of "hammer sessions" with the problem students in the school -- education through the school of hard knocks, utilizing "You's" skills as a professional fraud.

Roma is a mysterious girl that is on a mission to collect “human greed” through the use of various magical objects that have unique powers. When humans use these magical items to satisfy their own personal emotions, such as love, their greed level increases and Roma is able to steal their excess greed.

One of her mysterious magical objects includes a piece of paper that will make two people fall in love if both people hold it while it's being torn apart. One of Roma’s victims uses that in order to make his crush fall in love with him. However, he finds out later, when it's too late, that his crush actually used it on him before he did. This means that his love for her wasn’t real.

The people that use Roma’s objects seem to always let their greed destroy themselves, putting themselves in a worse situation than before.

This is what tethysdust said this week:
I liked the mood and the art in Teizokurei Monophobia. I also happened to read it directly after Urara-chan no Naka no Hito, so it was really strange seeing the same plot device (boy sharing possession of a girl's body) treated in such different ways. I liked the art in Midas Eater, but the one chapter was pretty short and did not develop the story enough for me to tell if I was going to like it or not.
Here's a note from vyc:
Lots of manga this week.Several caught my eye. The first being Mahou Gyoushounin Roma. The twist in the plot stemming from human greed is really interesting and I want to know what she is using the greed for. Ginen Shounen also seems interesting. I want to see how he plans on saving his love life and his future. The random short comedy series like Ikiru and Ko Akuma are very funny and worth reading imo.
My opinion: Ginen Shounen definitely piqued my interest. I really enjoy reading those romantic slice of life-type mangas and hope someone will be kind enough to scanlate this series. ^_^ Ikiru (Shou)'s premise of a zombie and a devil debating life and death seems interesting so I'd check out this one-shot. I'm on the fence as to whether or not I'd want to check out Mahou Gyoushounin Roma although the cover art looks nice. However, I'm surprised that Minds isn't quickly scanlated considering it's from the mangaka of super popular manga, Eyeshield 21, and it's now the second one-shot that's been published somewhat recently for this mangaka. The art looks nice although I'm not too interested in the premise. On the other hand, Teizokurei Monophobia definitely looks good - mystery, gender bender with bits of supernatural make this one I'd definitely want to check out if it gets scanlated. I might check out Yuusha no Tauchimawaru... somehow getting your wish to be granted to become a demon, yet not how you imagined it to be makes me a bit curious as to how his wish is fulfilled~
